Jason Mernick
Jason Hugh Mernick now 36 and living in southern California has been sculpting in metal and working with glass for years. His dedication to the art has given him the opportunity to create Metal sculpture's in many different themes. His work ranges from small wall hangings to life size metal sculptures.

Jason believes his art dramatically changed in late 2001 and early 2002 during a tragic 4-week period both Jason's mom and dad passed. Jason found acceptance and understanding of the death of both parents in a short period of time through his art.

Jason Hugh Mernick 2002-"I like to work everything extremely hot with a torch. I like the element of danger associated with making my art. If I am not paying complete attention while I am working I might get hurt. In my opinion my work is the art of danger.
